How about a loonie for my thoughts?

I keep thinking that I should just end the anonymity of this journal and let you know a bit about me. This is my middle ground, now you'll know a whole lot of unimportant details about me.

I promise, there will not a be quiz later.

1. What time did you get up this morning?
--- 8:30ish, I slept in a bit after Hubby left for work- it's just too hard to get out of bed when a warm little puppy is cuddled up beside you.

2. How do you like your steak?
--- As a general rule, I do not like steak- I'm lazy and don't like to chew.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
--- "The Proposal" with hubby and my parents when we visited in July.

4. What is your favorite TV show?
--- Dog the Bounty Hunter. No lie.

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
--- Closer to my parents, somewhere with a little less winter, in a bigger house full of babies. Well, you asked.

6. What did you have for breakfast?
--- Life cereal, I am so exciting.

7. What is your favorite cuisine?
--- Junk. Haha.

8. What foods do you dislike?
--- Really spicy foods, meat, overcooked asparagus.

9. Favorite Place to Eat?
--- I don't think I'm too picky, I like most places.

10. Favorite dressing?
-- Ranch or Italian

11.What kind of vehicle do you drive?
--- My car is Lucille and she's an '88 Toyota Corolla... the "family" car is a 2002 Ford Escape

12. What are you favorite kind of clothes to wear?
--- cute and girly? These questions are getting silly.

13. Where would you visit if you had the chance?
--- England I suppose. I'd also love to go back to NYC.

--- 1/2 full.

15. Where would you want to retire?
--- Somewhere with the hubby... seeing as how I'm starting my first year of actually working I probably shouldn't focus on retirement just yet.

16. Favorite time of day?
--- 4pm, when Hubby gets home.

17. Where were you born?
--- In a hospital, oooh how vague.

18. What is your favorite sport to watch?
--- Hockey I suppose, hubby's a fan. I do love watching live sports too.

19. This 20 and 21 were stupid questions about tagging so I took them out. Ha.

--- Only if they're doing something interesting.

23. Are you a morning person or a night person?
--- Once I'm up I'm awake, it's just the getting up part that's hard...

24. Do you have any pets?
--- Da Bubbies! Also known as Oliver the 2year old puppy that I share my husband with.

25. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share?
--- No?

26. What did you want to be when you were little?
--- A teacher and a Mommy- guess I'm well on my way, seeing as how I've achieved one of the two (and for the record, cannot stop thinking about the second)

27. What is your best childhood memory?
--- Laughing with my mom in the truck on our way back home from a camping trip about how funny the word "Winabago" is... what's a bago and how do I win one? I was about 12.

28. Are you a cat or dog person?
--- I'm an Oliver person.

30. Always wear your seat belt?
--- Feel slightly naked without it.

31. Been in a car accident?
--- I suppose so, my Dad was hit but we were all fine- he sawed off the bumper and we kept going...

--- When hubby cuddles me and moves my limbs to better suit him, harumph.

--- bacon and black olives (but not just those, that'd be gross)

--- Vanilla with peanut butter and chocolate chips

--- once, ugh.

--- A photography newletter

--- No idea, I don't think I like one store enough for that...

--- Hubby stopped at the road stop where we originally got engaged (2.5 years ago) on our way home yesterday and asked me to marry him again... very sweet.

--- Ask me in a month.

--- Sure, why not.

--- Our honeymoon to Maui

--- Mom, Dad, Hubby and Sister-in-law after Bro-in-laws wedding, before the reception

--- Air 1, the Christian Alternative on my computer

--- Pink and Purple

--- None... still thinking about the Jesus fish on my foot for walking by faith, we'll see.

--- 3:14pm, and I should be working on planning my first weeks of school.

So there you go, now you know my favourite colour and what I had for breakfast. How did you handle the curiosity before I shared? I'm not sure.

I can see myself writing more now that school has almost started (first day is September 8th up here in the Canadian snow lands). I'm trying very hard to figure out what exactly I should be teaching for first couple weeks... especially for Science since I'd planned on doing a unit on Habitats and have it lead up to getting our class pet. BUT. I was told the new school policy is "NO PETS"... boo. So now I'm not sure... anyone have a generic "Welcome back to school" Science unit to suggest? I'd only need about 10 lessons, just to get me through to the next one. This will also help me figure out what to do before my curriculum arrives (I will be doing animals, structures, stars and planets and the environment later this year).
